How to reset BlackBerry 8820

It is pretty easy. Just follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Options on your BlackBerry device.

2. Go to Security Options

3. Go to General Settings

4. Choose the options by clicking the trackballl or menu button and select Wipe Handheld.

5. Confirm it by clicking on the "Continue" button. You will be shown as message "Warning, all application data will be lost! Message service and other services will be disabled."

6. The device will prompt you to type in the word "blackberry." Type in "blackberry" and confirm.

7. Wiping will start and will finish in couple of minutes.

8. After that, the Blackberry will ask you to Run the Setup Wizard. That is optional. The Setup Wizard takes approixmately 10 minutes to complete. Basicall it is 11 steps process:- Introduction, Language for Screen, Type in Language, Connect to mobile network, Time Zone, Intoduction to BlackBerry (Send Key, Menu Key, Escape Key, |end Key), Introduction to BlackBerry (Symbol Key, Alt Key, Left Shift Key, Right Shift Key), Introduction to BlackBerry (Backspace/Delete Key, Enter Key), Import SIM card contacts, Owner Information, Font, Email Setup, Setup Wizard Complete.
