I am trying to install IIS server in my Windows XP machine. Everything goes well upto a point where it says "Setup cannot copy the file staxmem.dll". I have manually located the file in the Windows XP installation CD but still it does not accept the file. The most important thing is that I can see the file but the setup seems not to be accepting the "staxmem.dll file from CD.

Re: IIS Server Error: "Setup can not copy the file staxmem.dl_
secedit.sdb in %windir%\security\database\ may be damaged.
Follow the follwoing steps to fix it and then try to install the IIS:
1. It's better to make a backup copy of the secedit.sdb file.
2. Type the following in cmd: esentutl /p %windir%\security\database\secedit.sdb
and press Enter. Click "OK" when presented with "Repair" warning. Wait for repair to finish.
3. Make sure that the Repair was successful. Then re-install the IIS server.
